The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of China recently announced the 2025 list of 5G factories. Two companies in SIP are on the list, including one located in Yangchenghu Peninsula Tourist Resort.

Suzhou Tianhong Laser Co Ltd, founded in 2001, is a globally leading provider of digital intelligent industrial equipment and automated production systems incorporating laser technology.

In collaboration with the Suzhou branch of Chinese telecom giant China Unicom, the company has realized all-around application of 5G technology in its factory, covering R&D, design, manufacturing, warehousing, transportation and operation management. This has allowed it to significantly improve its resource allocation and operation efficiency, and make its production systems more flexible, responsive and labor-saving.
